Ebay vouchers? Can you buy them?

A friend was telling me about giving ebay vouchers as a present, i think this is a great idea but i dont know where they are on ebay?

App you can buy them and the credit appears in the persons account?

Anyone know how to do it or where to buy ebay vouchers if they exsist?

Hi, Ebay vouchers are sent out by ebay in the form of discount codes ie 15% off next purchase etc (i have never received one). I dont think they are something you can buy. The alternative is you could get their paypal id and put funds directly into their paypal account, providing they use paypal to pay for goods.

The US site has proper gift vouchers that you can buy and either email or print and give to people.

Nothing similar in the UK though - and I think eBay are missing a big trick with this one.

discount codes are discount codes and vouchers are vouchers! I'm looking for vouchers! You don't give a 15% discount as present! :rolleyes::D

I will use the paypal idea though and put money in their acc! :T

Lol, a £10 in a paypal account as a xmas present, couldn't you put any less thought into this How's about collecting some money of vouchers out of the papers for them too, so at least they have something to open on xmas day.

sainsbury's sell paypal voucher/cards they only had a £25 one though,

personally i would love this as a gift, i could buy from a number of shops and get exactly what i like !

Ebay call these vouchers, they have a box saying enter voucher codes when you pay for stuff but they are actually a discount. I wasnt suggesting you give them as a present, ebay dont sell them they just issue them randomly. I just assumed that this is what you were talking about.
