Does anyone have any advice on the best savings accounts with ethical standards attached? I prefer to go for an ethical account even if this means less interest, but I don't really know where to start and I would still like the best deal possible. I know the Co-op are meant to have good ethical standars but are there better, less known deals out there. Any advice would be appreciated!

What about joining a credit union? - very ethical - but the low rate of interest reflects the fact that handling money absorbs quite a bit of it.
What about lending your money to Zopa? - you can ask for the rate that reflects your own views - I am sure that many lenders would gladly take money at 2 or 3 percent if you only set your lending figure at this.
What about 'CITR' accounts? - give the money to charitybank for five years and collect five percent tax free income (you have to be a taxpayer for this to work)? Best of the bunch I'd say.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -
Triodos Bank and the Ecology Building Society offer ethical accounts. The Vegan Society has more information on ethical investing.0
