polypropylene carpet

Can someone tell me if 100% polypropylene, action backing (?) carpet is good quality carpet?

Depends what room it's for, the quality of the carpet and how heavily it's used.

It flattens quickly and it's not as good as an equivalent grade wool blend carpet.

Action backing (man-made) is an alternative to traditional jute or hessian backings and shouldn't effect the quality of the carpet.

The price for the carpet is 18.99 sq/m including fitting, underlay, door bare.
Is it expensive?

However cheap and whatever the quality is like is difficult to comment without seeing it. They are very hard wearing for the weight but one of the main benifits is that they are unstainable. The strands are coloured in the manufacturing process and cannot be washed out or stained easily. Perfect for kids parties, blackcurrent juice and anything else that you may get upto on the carpet but it will give friction burns!

Quality: Atmosphere
Pile content: 100% polypropylene
Backing: Action Back
Suitability: Heavy Domestic

Nothing else!

hardwearing, look good, but don't do what my hubby did and drop the iron on it - it melts!

mind you, good for new carpet via insurance claim!
