When does the boots 50% toy sale start?

  • I think the weekly hot deals have been very good. Actually better than half price if you buy 2 and get one free. A couple of weeks ago, they had a FCUK travel bag with goodies in it reduced from £40 to £20 and they were happily selling 3 for £40 making them £13.33 each - so actually those deals are going to better than the sales. Depends if you want the weekly offer, this week it is box of No 7 make-up at the reduced price of £35 - so you can get 3 for £70 - (£23 each) ok if you have 3 people to give them too next year I guess. I got so many bargains last year I had to go back to the car twice!! |Used them all year for birthday and xmas presents.
Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 2016

You won't believe it - but many readers have a subscription - we get every bit of nonsense interspersed with what seems like the occasional real grabbit filling up inboxes.

Know when the sale is? Post it. Don't know or want to know? Wait until someone puts it up, go and find out and post it, or ask in the right place.

Oh please lighten up you and rykes2000 or whatever his name is (who incidentlly I think are the same posters;) ) are both just soooo boring like so many people tell you, is this all you do is think you are the internet police. Please stop nagging at everyone and give it a rest.
    :hello:Time2start a new year diet for a new me:j
  • Yes it would be good to know when the sale starts, I would also be interested to know, I read this thread to find out, but regardless of how you feel about people posting "where's the grabbit?" they are correct this board is for red hot short lived bargains, not questions and speculation.
Personally I don't mind threads like this one but they are against the rules of the board, there is a correct place for all threads but not here people should be able to scroll down and see 1 cracking deal after another not a few bargains scattered among questions.

Can't be as boring has having to type these messages to explain every so often. Not as boring as trying to look at all my posts - why does it bother YOU so much? And if you didn't bump up threads like this by posting further, you might reduce my boring posts. And the board guides (volunteers) then have less work to do. Everyone wins!

As for balletshoes's post, if someone has a concrete date for start of the sale, great. Someone coming on here and asking "anyone know when it starts?" brings in loads of speculation and "ooh, I want to know too" messages that probably prevent people finding real bargains. And if someone does post the info, then you trawl through looking for it - with a much greater chance of missing it.

The sticky at the top of the board is there to stop this kind of rubbish. Finding a needle you've dropped on the floor is hard enough without someone picking it up and tossing it into a haystack. Not rocket science. Nor is the fact that Boots is more than likely to have a sale. And that someone will post about it when that happens. Which brings me back to my point - this thread is UNNECESSARY.
Not only are you boring BUT (yes I can type in capitals/shout as well) you ASK FOR THANKS....UNNECESSARY !!!
  • The 75% off sale started on 9th January this year. They had some fantastic bargains but the really good stuff sold out quickly as you'd expect.
Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.

Clever you. If you get bored so easily you ought to look into addressing your attention issues. Comprehension problems I guess stem from that - I'm not asking for thanks, I'm pointing out that not enough people give it when it's due generally.

Yawn. I'm bored of you now. Please do go and find something better to do than to offer truly worthless rebuttals to my posts. I'll give you a thanks for giving me a laugh at the start of the day though.
The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster! :)
