Hotel/Spa Recommendations

Grandparents are moving into our house to have hopefully a fun weekend with their 4 grandkids and we want to find a nice hotel to escape to. We live in North Yorks so needs to be not too near and not too far from here - possibly peak district/cheshire/North Wales or Coast anywhere Yorks to Northumberland, pref not Lake District as we are having a half term break there is Feb (but if anyone suggests somewhere there that sounds good it is not totally ruled out).

Our wish list is:

Nice but not too pricy hotel
Good pool/spa in hotel to chill out
Restaurant in Hotel poss one night and not too isolated so we can also eat out nearby
Somewhere we can do a good walk as well before we relax again.

All suggestions much appreciated!!!
