I know it's on the bankruptcy sub-board, but have we had this on DFW before?
Is this a First??I think I'm probably correct in saying that come August 2009 we will have our first wedding as a result of this forum.
Dave's popped the question :j and of course I had to say yes
We're hoping to get everything sorted and booked for bank holiday weekend, so that gives us 8 months to plan a wedding from start to finish . It will of course be uin true MSE style with Dave doing as much bartering and haggling as possible and with me bargin hunting the rest :rotfl:. There's no engagement ring as yet because we're hoping to get a bargain in the sales
As many of you will know I met Toon_Dave via The Bankruptcy Inn and by making preparations for the 'meet' earlier this year. For those that don't know us, we have both declared ourselves BR, mine in March 2007 and Dave's in June 2008.
Declaring yourself BR is one of the hardest things anybody will ever have to encounter, it hit us both hard emotionally and our mental health did suffer. At times neither of us thought we would make it but here we are a few months down the line and our lives have completely turned around. So for anybody contemplating BR, believe me it isn't the end of the world. If I hadn't have declared myself BR I would never have met the man of my dreams :happyhearFree/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
