Ah Braxton Hicks - trying to kid you into thinking you know what a contraction will feel like, instead of saying to you "feel this, now multiply it by 100 and add some pain" :rotfl:

Hi all,
I hope that evryone is ok.
On Friday i found out that im too lose my Job when i go back to work in three weeks time after christmas. there are five of us going this time that makes 27 in the last 6 months. evryone else that is keep there job for the time being will be going on a 4 day week. On day hours all shift work will be stoped. The people who are left at work will be about £300 month down on pay because of this.
So its all bad news for everyone.
On a plus side for me i should be debt free in about 9 months time im on a DMP. and have been for 5 years.
With the payout that i should get for loseing my job (iv been there 11 years)
I will be able to pay all my debt off!!!! so i should be debt free by the end of Jan.
Ok i wont have a job but i can start afresh debt free. and i know it may take some time but when i do find a new job ill be debt free and my wife and i can start to thinking about paying extra off on our morgre and bring this down. Also i can now find a job that i like doing. iv only stuck at this one for so long because of the debt repayments.
So new year......no debt.... new start:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
Sorry you are losing you job Halight:(
Good to see that you are looking on it as an opportunity to do something you like in the future.
I wish you all the best for 2009:kisses3:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Morning!!!
Lou, I'm in the same panic mode...
Snags, glad you had ok time-I didn't have hangover yesterday either, just 'the guilts' as me and DH call them. (and I was soooo tired)
Hypno, excellent description of Braxton Hicks! lol Can anything prepare you for the actual pain of childbirth? (sorry Luc-I even enjoyed it! Promise!)
Gunjack, my DD had her birthday last WEd and becasue it's in Dec week alwats go over board! In fact, we took her to Centre Parcs this year-she even asked where we're taking DS when it's his birthday in May, lol. He gets nada. Poor little man...
DS and DH still in bed.
DD so clever and got herself out of bed this am, came downstairs and turned on tv. I've waited 6 looooong years for this moment.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
ey up bunny...bargain with DD
our 2 DS's do that (10 and 7) and so oldest has done so for ages....great, isn't it

Yay for DD for getting herself out of bed without waking up Mummy first:D
It took mine ages to learn that they can actully be awake without checking in on Mummy to make sure she is awake too:rolleyes:
I must get my a$$ into gear today but its difficult to get on with things when you have a guest staying (who probably wont be awake until 12.00) and the room his is in is where my ironing pile is.
Think I will do one of Skintys lists and cross things off as I go, just dont think this page is long enought for it:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Well, I can't wrap presents with the kids around so that has to wait until they go to bed-and as for DH's presents??? Argh! That will probably be one night holed up in our bedroom. DH is on nights on Xmas this year *sigh*
It's great isn't it Gunjack?Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0
