Jinks I did think of doing a online shop but as ususl I left it too late and there are no slots left...... I would mind but there was slot on thurs and fri but i didn't have the time... Oh well we shall just have to wait and see whats left in the shops hehe it's only a roast after all isn't it! And i have brought the boys presents just gotta get a couple more for my dad, sister and friend oh yea and naughty nephew.
Linda she will have them if I ask... an evening would be lovely i could get the presents wrapped!! but I doubt ds2/ds3 would stay as when the mood takes them their right mummy's boys lol I love buying for others although I do still buy for myself a little to often..... it's shoes that get me!!! I just need to grow some more legs so I can wear more than one pair lol Oh them branches look great wish I had seen that before i had brought one! still I was going to need one next year anyway and it was reduced £99 to £25 so not to bad!
Thanks for all your kind thoughts...
just waiting for my sister to get here with some sugar!! erm tea.....lol

Do your kids like to play by themselves sometimes?
If so, explain to them that Mums also need some quiet time to themselves too!
If you manage to get them to go to your sis's (give them a task to do while they are there such as making some Christmas cards or paper chains for decorations)
Then have a pamper evening to yourself - nice body scrub, relaxing bath, manicure & pedicure while watching a favourite film.
Think of it as a well earned gift to yourself!

  • just realised the mate who I am having lunch with - well her present looks really rubbish!

so I looked at the present another friend gave me yesterday and have regifted it.

I feel bad cos the lunch friend is a good friend but I got her present on the basis that I was going to post it? so it was simple.

now I am seeing her! so swopping is the right thing to do right?

    argghhh.

    xx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

  • afternoon! Busy one already today.

Started the daywith a strongly worded complaint email to Argos. I've bought OH a rowing machine for Christmas as he as been going on about wanting one for months. I'd arranged for it to come Monday morning so he wouldn't see it - it arrived today as I was in the shower and he carried in a huge box with 'ROWING MACHINE' plastered all over the side  I was gutted :( so i've fired off an email to them as it's ruined the surprise :(

Then went to the park with Charlie.......and got back to the car minus my keys    . I didn't have a pocket so was carrying bags, leads and keys and I now remember at one point tapping my side when he was running towards me, they must have dropped out of my bundle of stuff. I had to re-trace the whole walk from the car and was just about to start again when - there they were on the path in the exact place I'd tapped my side!!! Phew!!!!!!!!! House keys would have been fine but it would have been a tow job to a Honda garage to get a replacement key

Read back on last nights shenanigans - Bun - you are a woo woo star! :D

Hi BB, glad you found your keys!

You'd think Argos would want to deliver when you ask because then they can squeeze in other deliveries in time for Christmas.
    They must be crazy busy
