We have a joint income of £2973...
We pay £500 to bills and rent.
£1558 to Egg Loan
£100 to Egg Visa (0%)
£100 to Virgin Visa (0%)
We try and budget £100 for food shopping, cleaning materials and toiletries.
The rest goes on much reduced mobile tarrifs, TV license, contact lenses and charity etc. This leaves us with about £200 a month for our own spending. I also work part time in the pub and this is used for birthdays etc..

Im so please! But do follow this up in a few weeks with next to make sure theyve done it. They told me when i questioned it first that there was no way of them closing down the account. it would just sit dorment (yer with all companies thinking i had £4k of availble credit). The second time the manager over the phone told me that oh yes the account was close. I obtained a credit report and found next still on it!! I rang back up and had to basically beg and threaten to get them to finally shut the account.
Just to warn you sweety! sez x0 -

Does anybody know of any bank accounts that allow us to split our account into 3/4 mini accounts within the main account. The reason why I want to do this is to live off one mini account but regularly save into another mini account and it will also allow us to budget easily as we will be able to see whether we are overspending or not. The only bank that I can find that does this is "Intelligent Finance"

Hi! I don't know how anyone does it! I'm in so much debt I contemplate ending it all! Outgoing way more than incoming! So, in more and more debt each month! Have 2 loans, credit cards... I'm your example of a bad money spender Read this site for hope. But I'm still hopeless. ... _pale_0 -
