Hi there,

I have a Dimplex storage heater, but I'm not sure when to put the input up as I really don't know when the off peak energy hours begin and end.

Anyone else have an idea? Thanks

You can keep the input the same all the time, the jheater should only store up when the cheap rate is active.

    If you're on E7, it's normally midnight - 7am
  • You have to have a off peak economy 7 meter for the storage heater to work as it should, it should also be on its own circuit from the fuse box which is connected so that it only uses electricity at the time the eco 7 works. What i mean is that if you don't have the eco 7 you can use the storage heater anytime as the electricity you pay is the same no matter what the time. Hope this helps
