Have 2 PC's (mine & girlfriends) in same room. One PC is connected to outside world via Telewest cable modem. I want to connect the 2nd PC using a router.

Has anybody out there done this? Would you be so kind as to tell me how do this.

Look forward to any replies

If you are using wires, buy your router, and plug an ethernet cat5e cable from your telewest cable modem into the wan port of the router and then two ethernet cables from each pc's network card into the hub of the router.

Yes it can be done easily.

Please read though Wireless - Look here first and then come back with any specific technical questions.
