Bit of a conundrum! Winner of Black Mt Insulation - anyone else won? Advice needed

So, my partner entered this competition and the rolls of insulation have just been delivered. I've no idea WHY he entered this comp - I think he thought the installation would be included in the prize.

Nevertheless we cant afford installation and now have 50 rolls of 5meter long sheeps wool insulation to rid ourselves of. We live in a 2 bed terrace without any kind of storage.

Did anyone else win this prize? What did you do with it? Whats the best way to sell the damn things? We've got it up on ebay and gumtree but theres very little interest, even at bargain prices!

Advice appreciated! BTW I know he shouldnt have entered something he couldnt use. I think it was an honest mistake and I've had a very stern discussion with him about it

Well, we're in rented accomodation at the moment. Think he thought the landlord would knock something off the rent if we won it (I've entered for things like kitchen makeovers and things based on this premise). It's a Victorian house the loft "door" is only about 1.5-2 ft wide. Not been up there and I'd hate to get stuck in it

catz - could have been. There were about 3 posted around that time - one of which was by Al Mac and I think it may have been that one.

Can you put it on your local freecycle site, you wont get anything for it but at least someone should be able to make good use of it and get it out of your space

thanks for the sympathy lol I keep telling him he's gonna have to deal with it on his own. If it wasnt for the fact it was in my house I'd be p***ing myself laughing!

Cardiff vwcampervan! Which is fairly central in the scheme of things. Marrggh its chaotic enough here with Christmas - let alone with 50 massive rolls of sheeps wool in the house (taking up the entire living room and most of the study!!!)
