Somerfield turkey

Have just seen the advert for 1/2 price turkey at Somerfield. I have never bought a turkey before as we go to my mum's for xmas dinner, but I thought I might get one to cook to use cold over the xmas period.

Does the Somerfield offer work out a good price?

(Sometimes I think Somerfields is expensive even on offer!)

Be careful, half price isn't always half price, I remember their chicken breasts being on an add, the full price must have been £19 a kilo, ha, like heck were they! What price is it per kilo?
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

    Hi

Not sure how much per kilo as I only caught the end of the advert!

I am sure it was down to £8. I pressumed it was for the bird, but now I'm not sure!

Been on Website, says see individual price tickets for details 3.6-8.2kg but no per kilo price noted/price noted, so pressume it goes on weight.

A butchers up here sent me an email saying their half price turkeys were £10, that's for about 3.5kg in weight. If it's £8 per kilo in Somerfield, that's not half price IMO especially as they are frozen not fresh aswell.
