I need to buy a 16gb memory stick, to hold back up files 5gb. I am totally new to this and have looked at KIngston data traveler, sandisc and courier which are more expensive but seem faster.
Can anyone help as to which one prices vary between £17 and £30. And would I be better with a more expensive faster model
I am very lost so any expert advice appreciated. My head is spinning with this one

I got one off play.com for 15.99. It says it was slow, took 15 mins to get 4.5GB when I used it the other day, is that OK for you or too slow?
I got this one: http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/6059462/SanDisk-Cruzer-Micro-16GB-USB-Flash-Drive/Product.html
These ones are more but say they are hi speed: http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/6364361/Sony-USM16GL-Micro-Vault-Click-16GB-USB-Flash-Drive/Product.html

I would go for a sandisk card. They are quick enough for readyboost and come with U3 software, whilst being only slightly more that an own brand card..0

Which sandisc model of usb stick would you recommend. And what would be the difference in speed for 5GB?0

I dont think you can format NTFS so you wont be able to put a 5gByte file on it. Consider a usb hard drive instead.0

I tried force formatting several to NTFS and they all failed. So I agree, if they MUST be 5 gig files, then you need another storage medium.:idea:0
