Can I ask for a refund on postage costs for a return??

Hi,

I'll try and keep this short and to the point.

I bought a fancy dress outfit from an ebay shop but when I realised I had the 20% off code I asked if I could cancel the order immediately. They said I could and I wouldn't be charged and I was free to make a new order using the 20% off code.

Anyway, three days later two of the same item arrive and yes I have been charged for them both. I asked for a refund which they were more than happy to give but now I will have to send the parcel back recorded delivery.

My question is, seeing as this was their mistake, can I get a full refund including postage plus the amount it will cost me to send it back to them?

No, the only time you have case for that is when the item is faulty.

They mistakenly sent it, you have your refund. Ask for a postage paid bag to return it in. Make it quite clear that you will not send it back any other way.
