10% return per year on your investment over 10 years.

I am sure that alot of you would agree with me that i am not happy with the current interest rate on my savings. 2% is no where near what i would like to earn on my hard earned money.

I have seen a company where you can invest a minimum of £100, and a maximum of £10,000 and you will get a 10% return on your investment per year for up to 10 years. I would just like to get peoples opinions on this. The company invest half your money in safe savings options with a steady gain, and the other half a business ventures. The rewarding side of your investment is the business investment. You can received great returns on your investment.

What are peoples opinions on this type of investment and what do you think to 10% return with the current status of the banks. This investment is not through banks but through experienced business investors with over a combined experience of over 150 years!

Any thoughts greatly appreciated. How much would you invest? Would you look at this type of investment.

Regards

I would have thought this was some sort of GEB offering a high % on the savings proportion, ie 10%, think Abbey worded one like that, but the bulk of your money was invested, with no guarantee of return other than the principle which if it makes nothing seriously dilutes you 10%
That was right up until I saw the bit.....

In light of that I'd say Ray Wolfe response..

should be carefully considered, I'd imagine there could be a lot of this about for the unwary.

I fear that with interest rates low and the inexperienced, low knowledge investor scared of the markets, that there may be more unconventional, unregulated schemes out there to prey on those people.

their other posts seem to be about a 10% off card , wonder if the "investment" part of this scheme is one and the same
