Missing Wii and forged signature - Any advice please

Hi i'm a complete lurker as i'm always too worried about posting and making an idiot of myself, but today I have been pushed to the edge.
I ordered a Wii package via Studio knowing that I would have the money by the time it arrived (which i did). I didn't recive it and after phoning them was told that they would send out forms for me o fill in which i did.
Today I received a letter explaining that the Wii had been signed for in November and attached was a copy of the track and trace that had been signed. The problem is it is NOT my signature.
I have not received the Wii, I have not signed for it.
Apart from being absolutely fuming at the moment, I really don't know what to do. There is no phone number on the letter, just a reply envelope.
I will be writing back to them telling them that it is not my signature, but don't really know what else to do. I want to start a criminal invstigation now as my signature was forged and the item is now technically stolen. I am not paying my bill for it.
Does anyone out there have any advice please?
Thank you

Can you prove where you and any other residents of your house were at the time? If you can and can get confirmation where you were - assuming you were at work/out of the country etc... then you can give this info to them.0

Yes, that seems the most logical thing to do. They must have left it with someone so perhaps they got the wrong house, or someone managed to convince the they lived in the house and were on their way out/in?
We've had drivers leave stuff with neighbours and not put a note through our door to inform us where it is. Has it been signed in your name?0 -
Who sent you the letter? Was it the courier or the retailer? Basically it is down to the retailer to prove delivery, not for you to prove non-delivery. Send them a copy of your signature so they can see it is different. That is about all you need to do, it is then down to them and the courier to find out what exactly happened by interviewing the driver. If they start getting problematic ask them to supply the times and addresses of other deliveries on that drivers route that day. Normally you will find that a your missing parcels signed delivery time is out of sync of where the driver should be at that time (I hope that makes sense).
Basically they do not have a leg to stand on, signed POD's are really not worth the paper they are written on. Just remember that you do not have to deal with the courier at all, it is you and the retailer that have the contract together, the courier has a contract with the retailer.0
