anybody used?

Hi.Has anybody used Greenhouses Direct?greenhouse.
Thinking of ordering from them and wondered what they were like.Regarding delivery times after sales service etc.
They manufacture rhino greenhouses but im after an elite greenhouse.

Can someone also tell me what greenhouses are like with an integral base as opposed to a seperate base.Which is easier to errect?

Thanks

I bought a rhino greenhouse last year. I went for the rhino as the site is exposed to coastal westerlies. Very pleased with greenhouse which came with detailed instructions which (nearly) all worked! Any queries I had were dealt with on the phone. Manged to get a bit knocked off the sale price and they chucked in the kit for erecting (nut twirler, glass suction tool etc)

There was a wait of about 2 months before the order was ready and it came in their large dedicated lorry which needs good access. Their helpline was a bit overworked and you had to leave a message for them to get back to you. This was my only real negative.

This was the first greenhouse I erected so dont know which base is easier.

I used the greenhouse people and they were good.

A quick searcharooney on the big search thingy up there ^ reveals two threads where this is mentioned

I suggest you ask the people you are buying from, the answer to your second question.

Yes, I bought a 10x6 Elite greenhouse earlier this year. Delivery took about 6 weeks, I think, and the delivery etc was very easy - they popped it all where we asked. The only thing which was a shock was the weight of the glass - it all came in one crate which two of us couldn't move. We ended up moving it onto its side and slowly emptying it.

As for putting it up, it was a full day job for two people (I had help!), the one I chose had an integral base - seemed quite straightforward but not sure what would have had to have done if it hadn't.

New greenhouses in general seem expensive things, but overall, I'm very happy with it. It looks good, I went for the green powder finish, and seems well made fitting together easily.
