Remember they'll need to add the balance transfer fee to the amount. I'm guessing it's around 3%?DFW Official Nerd Club #1114

Yea I thought about that but the £1800 has come through on my Virgin card today. A total of £1800. I guess they will charge the transfer fee (2.98%) to my RBS card.0

It seems a bit hit and miss as to how much you're allowed to BT to MBNA run cards. It used to be 95% with the fee added on top. Then the CSA's were including the fee in the 95% figure. Now it looks like they've said 90% exc. the fee, which is different again.
No. The BT fee will be posted after 2-3 days to your Virgin card.I guess they will charge the transfer fee (2.98%) to my RBS card.
If you wanted to eek out every last bit of your credit limit you could call again and see if a different CSA will do you a 95% of the remaining ~7%. If they won't, then make your first £25 minimum payment and then try again (or maybe make an online request).0
