Best way to get to London and Back??

Hi,

I know I have left this a bit late but does anyone have any advice on how to get to london and back (the cheapest way).

I am going on the 23rd December and coming back on the 24th. I was hoping for the Virgin tickets for a £1 from Manchester to London but these are only available for the new year.

Any help would be appreciated

It's always worth checking out https://www.transportdirect.com to see what options there are available... I travel from Wales and can go by National Express for £5

You can still do it for £54 via Sheffield - a bit of a saving over the standard £62.40 off peak return direct. Go into advanced options on most rail websites

Or try megabus or National Express

Virgin Trains still have £8 each way advance tickets. If you buy from Virgin Trains' website you can buy a flexible off-peak ticket for £31.20 for the other direction.
