Hi, I am also in need of some student loan advice!
With the bank accounts having such low interest, I am wondering about paying some of my student loan off. I have finished my degree with £13,500 of debt. I am now doing a PGCE and getting about £50 a month interest.
Should I use my savings to pay some of this off?
    I'd appreciate any help!

Personally I wouldn't as once you've repaid the money it can never be available to you again. You may well need your savings to pay for moving costs or deposits when you start teaching, or to help with living costs if you're unable to get a job immediately.

I'd wait until you're settled in a job, making normal repayments and reconsider your situation then.
