Guitar Hero Legends of Rock £35 Game & Guitar

Got one for 34.25 this morning from the Leamington Spa store (HMV is inside the Royal Priors shopping centre) mine was for the PS3, but PS2 (28) and other consoles available - they are in the window and next to the till.

I got one from Edinburgh (Princes St) at the weekend. It sounds to me like HMV have been thoroughly disorganised in organising this.

No joy at the Stockport branch (said it would be in the new year), but Manchester Market St had loads £34.25 (£35-VAT saving).

Just phoned my local branch in Bournemouth and they have loads for £35 for the Xbox, so i will be there first thing in the morning, after i have taken back the one i paid over £70 for! Thanks to the OP, a great find x

Guys, I am a store manager for HMV, I heard that Sheffield haven't had theirs yet (although Meadowhall have plenty - cue 'I'm not going there at Xmas!!') - it was on our product news system last Friday to sell them as soon as they arrive.

As I have said before, some stores might not have physically received the stock yet ... if they have prior stock at the old price then they have to sell that first - ie we only receive the 'sale' discount on the exact amount purchased at that lower price and on that particular screen ...

We always get people with one CD at £6 sale and the same title priced at £12.99 asking why they can't get both copies at £6 .. it's the old 'subject to availability while stocks last' - so we have a different screen on our system so we can differentiate between the cheaper stock and therefore remain a successful and (under the current situation in retail) profitable company.
