MS Money Tescos Deal of the Day £12.97 End: 10 am 15th Jan

Just to let everyone know Microsoft Money is Tescos deal of the day for £12.97. I know there were some vouchers flying around on the vouchers board as well so that may reduce the price. ;)

At this price its a sensible buy for MSE'ers. MSMoney will manage most aspects of your finances and show you what you are spending your money on.

Sorry for delay- yes it is. It allows you to analyse spending patterns, set up budgets, download statements from your bank (works with HSBC- not too sure about others) It means you should get a much more accurate idea of whats going on with your bank account and what will happen (unless of course you do monitor another way :) )

I also use it to measure/ monitor loan repayments. I've only just started playing with it properly recently but would definitely recommend buying it. Don't forget to use a cashback site eg quidco for extra savings :)

Does this version of Money work with UK banks?

I tried MS Money 2006 and the only banks it would connect to are those based in the USA?
  • Can't get to work, I tried to order it at £12.97 using Quidco but it kept giving an error page. Now it only comes up as £14.97 Oh well stuff em.

Same thing happened to me, and now it comes up as £14.97 + a delivery charge. Have e-mailed Tesco to ask why this has happened.

Micro$oft are not issuing a 2006 update in the UK or France (or anywhere except the USA, I believe). So did you buy your copy in the States?

Yes whilst I was out there. Ok looks like this is the one to buy for the UK then. Which version is the one Tescos had as deal of the day, 2004, 2005?
