Balace Transfer Problem

Hi there,

I just recently transfers my Balance from my Barclaycard to my Halifax CC. (11/12/08) This got approved etc.. and Halifax said it would take a 5-6 working days for this to work. So I logged on my Internet banking today when I got into work and see that my Halifax balance transfer has gone through fine on the 16/12/08 which I thought great, I then decided to check my Barclaycard account and found that my original balance was still on there?

Any ideas anyone? I don't want to have to pay both these balances!

Cheers!

Give it a couple of days and i'm sure it will sort itself out. I've had normal transfers between accounts show up in both accounts for a short while before the sending account gets updated.
  • Ok i'll take it from experience, I rang Halifax and they said that it usually takes a few more days for the other bank to declare it or something.
