I bought an infra-red mouse which was great except for the fact that you clicked once & somehow it would move 2-3 steps ahead - this problem was solved by taking it out of the usb port & using a converter to put it in the mouse pin socket on the processor. Earlier this week it stopped working all together & I could only get the mouse working by removing the converter(if thats what its called!) & putting it back through the usb port - fine, ecept I'm back to 1 click 3 moves again. My husband went to PC World who said they are not sold separately & I'll have to buy a new mouse etc
does anoyne know what I'm on about & know of a website where I could order one? Thanks

Click on the Mouse icon in Control Panel and then on the Hardware tab.
Check that you have the correct device set and the correct driver installed. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
The adapter you want is a "usb PS/2 adapter".
You can buy them seperately.
