    tools > options> other > second box down

    i have gone to tools then options in outlook and there are tabs across the page

    other, mail delivery, mail format etc

    second box down on the other page, is autoarchive?

    is that right?

    you need to go into the last tab which is other and it's the second tick box there.

    1. Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel
    2. Double-Click on Internet Options
    3. Go to the Programs tab
    4. Under Email select Microsoft Outlook

    it was set as that already. but i have refresehd it to make sure.

    Now it is saying

    Insert the Microsoft Office 2000 Professional disk and click ok...

    I have found my XP disk is that the one?

    did you reinstall office to get outlook back? if so use that disk
