How do I get my TV to default to my home cinema speakers on start up???

Hope someone can help. I’ve just connected up a Samsung HT-X200 home cinema system to a 50” Samsung plasma via a HDMI cable and a digital optical cable.
When everything is switched on, the DVD player sounds fine and gives the sound from the HT-X200 system, the TV, once Anynet+ is manually activated (going through various sub menus on the screen) also then gives sound from the HT-X200 system (just like I want it to).
However if the TV is switched off (either put on standby or switched of from the mains), then on switching it back on again it defaults to the TV speakers and the whole process of going through the menus to activate the HT-X200 speakers has to be undertaken.
I’ve even tried connecting phono leads from the TV to the HT-X200 (with all the other cable: HDMI & digital optical, still connected). But no luck with even this!!
Does anyone know what else I can try so that on switching on the TV it automatically defaults to the HT-X200 speakers? Without having to go through this whole merry go round each time!
Thanks in advance.

New one on me. I dont know of that actual set but does it not have a 'save' fuction anywhere?:idea:0

There is no 'save' option anywhere. As soon as the TV is put on standby or switched off, it reverts back to the TV's speakers upon start up.

Got a semi-result. Current connections are as:
HDMI cable connected to the TV > CINEMA SYSTEM
Digital Optical cable connected to the TV > CINEMA SYSTEM
Scart connected to the TV (Ext 1: RGB) > CABLE/VCR
Ant In connected to the > CABLE/VCR > Main Aerial Connection in the wall
Removed the phono leads which were connected to the TV (Audio Out) > CINEMA SYSTEM (AUX 2).
Now when I switch on the TV, I have to press the AUX button on the Cinema System remote control to change from the default TV speakers to the CINEMA SYSTEM speakers (D.IN).
The CINEMA SYSTEM modes switch in the following order from DVD > D.IN > AUX 1 > AUX 2 > USB > FM (by pressing the AUX button on the remote control)
Hence it appears that on start up the CINEMA SYSTEM is in DVD mode and by pressing the AUX button, it then changes over to a digital input (D.IN) and gives me sound from the CINEMA SYSTEM.
I’m sure there must be something quite straightforward that I can do so that on start up it automatically starts in D.IN mode without the need for me having to press AUX to tell it to go to D.IN mode??? I cannot see any options in the TV or CINEMA SYSTEM menus in regards to this, but then again the manuals are not very helpful when connecting two separate appliances together.
Will making any configuration changes help?0 -
Im afraid thats as good as your going to get it. Your ALWAYS going to have to manually select whatever the input is
Saying that ~ what IS the system?
On my denon, I had to set to AUTO configuration to get it to detect digital once id selected whatever source I was using (PS3, DVD, TV etc):idea:0 -
The CINEMA SYSTEM is this > SAMSUNG HT-X2000 connected up to this Samsung > TV
I came across a post on AV forums > HERE where someone managed to find a solution so that on start up their system defaulted to the AUX channel they required without them having to manually select anything.
Which leads me to believe (or more then likely hope
) that there is also a solution for me without having to manually select the D.IN each time the TV is switched on. 0
