Does Freeview Box work in Europe?

Evening all
We have a Phillips made UK Freeview box.
We have a house in Spain and were wondering if it is worth taking the Freeview box over at Xmas.
Will it pick up any digital channels in Spain, or are the signals completley different?
Cheers in advance.

Not true, I took an English Freeview Receiver to Spain and it worked just fine.
However, Spanish TDT Receivers are far more flexible than UK Freeview one's and are only around 20/25 Euro's, so I wouldn't bother taking one.
Spanish TDT is basically fairly poor, compared with our Freeview, fewer channels etc.0 -
Thanks again.
We already get TDT through the inbuilt Freeview on the TV we shipped over, but will be good to have in another room.0
