Co-op Travel - BT fee from Mon

Called Co-op about to apply for their 0% 8 months BT card. Lady very kindly informed me that from Mon they will be charging a 2% fee on all BTs. Kind of her to inform me of this - obviously not proceeding.

This has been rumoured for a while now, but did she mention whether the fee would be capped?

Sorry, I didn't press her on this. Once she said there was a handling fee I was gone!

Err But, there wouldn't have been a transfer fee today, is what I think she was saying too.

No. She clearly stated that if I was successful with my application today it would be to late to avoid the handling fee charge which commences as of Monday. I assume that this is because the next working day is Monday - and BTs don't happen immediately.

Just to summarise (from the horses mouth). Co-op will charge a 2% fee max £50 from Monday on all new applicants for cards with a 0% deal. Existing card holders are not affected.
