in Credit cards
Hi.
i was looking at martins article on BT's and want to apply for a credit card to take advantage of the 0% interest rate.
I do not have any large credit balances as they are paid off in full - but will need some money in the next month as I have a major function to pay for.
A loan will cost more in interest, but a BT is zero %. I was looking at the Abbey Zero card.
The thing is how do I get the BT money into my bank account - as they want to pay off my existing Credit card debt so I then owe the new card the money.
How can I use BT's to my advantage to get a cheap loan.
I have no mortgage, but earn under £12k
I read something about the egg money card - but I was rejected for that plus you cant apply for it any more.
Any ideas, or can anyone point me in the right direction.
Thanks

I think what i need is a super balance transfer - but i applied for abbeys card and this doesnt do the balance transfer to bank account. only to card.
ive already applied for this. does that mean my credit rating is affected?

It will be affected slightly but I wouldn't worry too much to be honest.
Why not apply for an MBNA run card such as Virgin as they offer good limits and will Super Balance Transfer directly to your Bank Account ?0
