Hi all I'm new to this forum and may not be posting in the correct bit. But need a bit of advice:
I've had a Reglar investment plan for the past 15 years paying in £25 per month, so have paid in £4500, today received a letter from the company saying he current value of my plan is £3929 and it is due to be paid out on 1st Jan 2009.
Naturally am gutted by this as a £500+ shortfall is a lot.
I understand that others have lost a lot more but it saddens me to think that if I'd put £25 a month for 15years under my mattress I would at least have got back the amount I had saved.
I have phoned the company involved as it said on the plan that I had an assured amount of £4500 but apparently that was the sum assured if I had died.
Is there anything that I can do?
Thanks in advance
Sharon
