Comet total care cover scam

Hi just to let forum readers know,
If you have Total care cover for a large item e.g. fridge ,washer etc and have to claim for a replacement item using the cover COMET will try to charge you £7.50 to remove the old item BEWARE the wording of the policy is.
In the event that an insured product is replaced, Your cover will end and the original product(s) becomes our property.
They are actually charging YOU to dispose of THEIR item, I have been arguing with them for a while now to get them to take an item that belongs to them away but boy do you get the run around.
Anyone know where i stand legally and who to contact on this matter please.
PS how much are they making annually by charging people to remove comets own property.
