Cheap flights to Canada?

Hi all
I am going to Canada in mid-June (although can be flexible if needs be - can go in April or May) and am looking for cheap flights.
I'd prefer to fly with a decent airline (eg BA, Air Canada) and am struggling to find anything cheap (sub-£400).
Has anyone got any tips for me?
TIA
Suze

Sadly, not if you want a DECENT airline."Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."0

https://www.canadianaffair.com the Thomascook flights have 35 inches of leg room as standard BA 31 and a mid June flight based on GATWICK to TORONTO canadianaffair 288.

My OH's mother goes to Canada to visit her parents/family a few times a year. She reckons that its cheaper to go out one way then book with a Canada travel agent for the return flight. I can say myself having never been
But it could be something to look into

Have used Canadian Affair a couple of times and they have been excellent and really cheap prices.0

I'm taking OH to Montreal and Toronto for his 30th in May care of Canadian Affair. Prebooked seats out to Montreal and back from Toronto cost £466 for the both of us. We had them recommended over flyzoom because they seem to be more efficient and keep better time - plus you're flying on quite nice planes, apparently!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 002 :rotfl:0

there's an airline that operates out of belfast called zoom airlines, i think it has a few other uk hubs, they are a pricing scheme similar to easyjet, with one way starting at £99. check them out www.flyzoom.com. several people in my work have used them, and all gave given them high praise - comfortable seat and legroom, good in flight entertainment, good food, etc. i am going to australia this year on my hols (lucky me!) but intend to go to canada with them in 20070

Hi
I have just come back from Toronto. I checked with Thomas Cook online, I could not believe the price it came back with.
£275.00 per person (based on a double room) for 5 nights at a 3 star hotel in Downtown Toronto (York St, 2 minutes away from CN Tower).
Absolubtly brilliant, the only thing though it was with Air India from Birmingham, I checked BA and others and they were far too expensive.
However Air India were ok, not as good as BA, and the security check in Procedures went on for ages, but all in all I went for the Holiday, not for the flight.
So I just thought you may want to consider this, as I would definatley do it again for that kind of price.
Cheers.Old pilots say "It is better to be down here Wishing you were up there, than up there wishing you were down here."0
