Trouble is the small claims court is limited to 5000 pounds so she needs advice from CAB trading standards of the best way to tackle this.
If you go for the full cost of the car (which is theoreticcally possible under the sale of goods act as this is clearly a lemon and not of satisfactory quality.) you will have to go through the civil courts and you will need a solicitor and Renault will have their solicitors and costs will be awarded to the winner.0 -
I brought a new Renault Clio a few years back and had to take it back after a few weeks as the cogs for the climate control was missing, factory never fitted them so it wouldn't work, and the bonnet dented the first time i opened it as it was so flimsy, sold 10 Months later and lost £3000, won't buy one again.0
