BT opton 2, 12 mth renewable contract billing

I can't believe it - more overcharging..
i.e just £14.14 a month rental. Phoned them up and they said £7.92 credit due and will be added to next bill. I said rather than credit next bill, can't they cancel this bill and re-issue correct bill. New bill supposed to arrive within 7 - 10 days.
Also the bill is odd – one month listed as calling plan the other 2 months under other rental exchange line rental.

Much the same thing happened to me but I was spun a different story regarding why they had not reinstated the credits when my contract was automatically renewed 3+ weeks ago. Read the thread 'BT Rolling Contract'.

Thanks - clearly BT have not thought through how this plan was going to work in billing terms, and also the staff are not fully aware of why these errors occurring.
Will await next bill. The price change 1st April will further complicate things.0 -
I've just been through the last 5 bills - what with price changes(VAT), date of rental charge changes and their errors, there was only one normal bill.
I think I'll need to open a spreadsheet to double check it all.0 -
Anyone considered the DD / paperless billing refund?
I get £1.23 back for every month for DD and paperless billing, however with the move from whole months to this middle of the month billing, the latest bills cover 3 month and 13 days, yet I've only received £3.69.
I've just asked for my 52p extra refund. Again its the principle, though if this is so for everyone, it must be loads of extra cash.0 -
Re paperless billing and downloading pdf - I've just noticed it does not automatically download detail of calls, you have to request this separately if required.0

Decided to check my mum's bill for her and it reads almost same as yours. Does anyone know if this means that from start of month 2, free evening and weekend calls no longer apply and will be charged separately (I don't recall mum even being on one of the 12 month renewable contract packages)?butterfly )i(0 -

who knows ? I'm sure BT don't, they can't even get bill presentation correctly. If you look at summary of the bill online it shows 8-mar 7 Apr (as above), but if you download it as a pdf it shows calling plan 8 Mar-7 Jun at £42.42.
Also noted today that only 2 bills online available to look at( but my account has 3 - similar dates) - they are really making it difficult for people to check their bills.0
