I know that someone mentioned on another thread about the huge increase in tescos prices recently
last week i brough a packet of tesco's swiss style museli which was 71 p
i went into the store yesterday to find out that it had gone up to £1.40 within a week a price incrase of 100% - thats disgusting when in fact the healthy option version of their muesli has remained the same price for ever which i ended up getting instead
it looks like therefore that they are increasing alot of their cheapeast branded foods

For another round of "price cuts" either right before Christmas or right after I bet. As far as I know there are no special regulations for discounted prices as opposed to sales where items must have been on sale for 28 days (and been bought) at the original price.
I bought a coat from Tesco the other day, I was orginally looking at buying it when they had 20%, ummed and ahhed about it, made my mind up and guess what Tesco had put the price back up, I though screw this and didn't buy it, a week or two later it's 25% off coats and jackets so I buy it."One thing that is different, and has changed here, is the self-absorption, not just greed. Everybody is in a hurry now and there is a 'the rules don't apply to me' sort of thing." - Bill Bryson0 -
Glad its not just me thats thinking that. Their value range long grain rice sure it was 49p; next time I go to buy it, it's 99p. Went without (tis only me that eats it-2xDS refuse) but it did come back down again few weeks later to around 75p but thats still one heck of an increase.
And today their market place whole chickens were all £2.48 last week when I got the Sunday roast, now sold by the kilo so cost more.0 -

Cynically I tend to agree"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

It's very simple. STOP SHOPPING THERE!
If you didn't like the price of M&S jumpers, you wouldn't buy them - it's a basic strategy really.0
