Speak for yourself. Some of us do actually care about others and don't always put our interests above others.

If you were a carcass then it would make the most hardened vulture puke.

so you go on missions to africa then? Why arent you in zimbabwe now helping those dying from cholera...

You can talk the talk but can you walk the walk?

No didnt think so.

The OP had no care in the world until this problem came about, exactly the same behaviour you witness here...

The 'im alright jack' attitude...

In the interest of balance I have done extensive research on the vulture. They do indeed feed on carcasses and it wouldn't make them puke, unless of course they were feeding their young by regurgitating. I have drawn up a list of relevant points as applicable to this thread.
1. They eat carcasses.
2. They live in trees.
3. The Parsi community leave their dead out specifically to be eaten by vultures, called a Sky Burial.
4. There is no requirement for them to be Corgi registered.

PS the BG engineer is getting £98 for however long it takes - could be 20 minutes. I'm happy to pay it because I would rather have hot water and heating in my home. If I wasn't happy to pay then I'd learn to do it myself but my time and interests are more valuable than to learn a skill that I'm not interested in but can pay someone else to do. I'd rather spend my time doing something I enjoy.
British Gas repairman has come and gone fixing the central heating/hot water problem, it was actually £96 not £98 and that money was well spent as far as I'm concerned - you see he trained to be able to troubleshoot/repair central heating and he earned his money.

Not strictly true Mewbie, even a Vulture has it's limits!
Will a vulture avoid decaying meat if it has gone beyond a point of no return? Is there anything that a vulture would turn up his beak at?
Yes, vultures WILL turn their nose up at carcasses in advanced stages of putrefaction. They much prefer their meat fresh, but often must wait a few days for the hide to soften enough for their weak beaks to penetrate it.

5. They are an endangered species
6. They pair for life and care for each other.
7. They breed once a year and care for their young.
8. They couldn't care less about septic tanks.

Well DirectDebacle was not making any points about putrefaction in his post. He was implying that those who held less sympathetic views would somehow be less appealing to a vulture.

I thankyou for your contribution however, but notice you have a. not thanked me, and b. glossed over the matter of Corgi registration.

God I'm bored.
• Mebie, if its just you and God in the room (I assume you are two separate people, although you may think otherwise) I am not suprised you are bored.
