Do you really think the other lot would have been any better? There isnt much choice. Having two or three bad choices doesn't exactly amount to a lot of say in the scheme of things.

I admit, I agree with you there - I personally thought the other lot would have been even worse; that's why I voted this lot of clowns in.

But whether I'll give them the benefit of the doubt a third time is highly unlikely.

Shame we don't live a 3 party state - I'd vote for Vince Cable - the only leading politician who appears to know his !!!! from his elbow - but sadly he won't get in.

    Revolution anyone? ;)

I have a question...is it genrally considered poor form, to look at previous posts in intrnt discussion? I did this (actually not by looking at previous posts but reading a post in another thread and realising its strength in my point of debate) th otherday and caused similar hurt to the person, which was most certainly not my intention. so while it seems perfectly reasonable for me to do, (and I can think of plausible and just reasons why things ar discussed differently under different headings) I now wonder if its generally considered poor form?
Absolutely not. One of NDG's great strengths is that in what seems a matter of minutes she can call up posts from months ago which either prove or disprove whichever point is being discussed. I marvel at the way she can retrieve these quotes , and point out to whichever [strike]blustering buffoon[/strike] er. fellow poster what they actually said, as opposed to whatever they are now pretending to have said.

I hope and pray that when the old Bill come dahn my gaff, and try to pin a ten stretch on me that she ain't stood opposite for the prosecution.
