Bath sealant - loose in one corner - fixable?

I thought I'd just cured my bath sealant woes, by removing the black mould patches on it using bleach.

But... now about 10cm of sealant has come loose around one corner of the bath. It's still attached to the tiles but isn't quite stuck to the bath and doesn't look to be repelling water...

Is there a way to fix this without starting again from scratch? Like putting another layer of sealant on top of this patch?

It's always better to take all the old sealant off and start again to ensure it's water proof.

Take the old stuff off. Use a sharp Stanley knife to cut out most (make sure you don't damage the bath). Once most is removed, the little bits can be cleaned off with a silicone remover solvent. Then use meths to thoroughly clean the area you're going to silicone.

Use masking tape to create a straight line along the tiles and the bath so you have a 1-1.5cm spacing. Fill the bath with water so it's in the right position then apply silicone. Use a wet finger to then run along the silicone so the edges are nicely tapered to the edge of the masking tape. Wait about 5 minutes and pull the masking off in one go away from the silicone (don't wait longer as the silicone sets, you'll pull it off with the tape).

If there are larger gaps, push some silicone down into these with the nozzle before doing the line across the top. Nice neat job and no more leaks.
