I signed up to Primus Saver almost 4 weeks ago and still not heard back from them. They said that it could take up to 21 working days to transfer but it'll be 21 days in a couple of days time. There's no direct debit set up and no letter informing me of their progress. I've rung up a couple of times and the best they can say is that my order is in progress. I would have thought that at least my direct debit would be set up by now.
Does it really take this long and shall I cancel and go with someone else?

I have had a similar experience. My direct debit has been set up but no update on the how the order is progressing. I emailed them on Wednesday to find out what was happening, got a response asking more questions to me to which I replied on Wednesday and got no reply. Called them today and said that they needed proof of address from me, after 4 weeks.
I cancelled the request immediately and have signed up to BT's free evening and weekend calls package as we are usually during the day.
Primus service has gone down hill. I have been with them for 3 years in other properties and have had no problems at all.0 -
