closing credit cards

I have a HSBC credit card and a Halifax one. Could you tell me how I would go about closing these cards as they have £0 balance on them. Any phone number to ring or address to write to? thanks

Can't help on the Halifax front, but if you have internet banking with HSBC then you can send them a message through that online banking asking them to close the account and they will oblige.

dont you still get staements? the address will be at the top of that...i have always cancelled my cards in writing using the address on statement.
