Hi I have also posted on here about when Tesco direct had 'lost' one of my items - which was due to be delivered to my home address. i got my sim card to get the free delivery  but when I rang the cs i was told the item (a very sought after toy which was half price at the time) had gone to the wrong depo but would be with me the next day. I waited in. Nothing turned up and I had no contact from tesco. I rang cs again. She said it had been lost and now out off stock so I would have to have a refund. I asked when would I have been told that the item I had paid for wasn't going to turn up - and she said when the customer rings up?! I think that is terrible. Who ever pushes the button/writes note etc to say it is lost should surly push a button, whatever to send e-mail/ring customer????!
The item I wanted eventually came back in stock and I had it delivered ok. When it came it was just in its own box with a massive pic of what it was in it. I am sorry if I don't trust anyone and asssuming wrongly but I think as it was so obvious what it was some delivery driver thought it would make a good xmas pressie and kept it themsleves??! Especailly if so much gets 'lost' at tesco direct and they don't seem bothered??!!SAHM Mummy tods (born Oct 2007) and dd (born June 2010)0 -
Well the irony of it all is that in the end they refunded me £114, which is £13 more than I had paid them for the item in the first place.
I had used a £13 off promotional code in my order, which they apparently didnt take into account in my refund(flaw in their system?).
So in the end I'm £3 up (after buying it for £110 from amazon). I guess Karma does exist.0
