    So how on earth do tracker mortgages (I assume these exist in the US) handle a variable rate?

    So the USA will be joining the UK in hyperinflation land in a few years' time .At least there'll be someone to keep us company I suppose.

    Dow holding up reasonably well; gonna be a case of Sell the news...
    Hopefully we can get a nice carry through the holiday season into new year, would set up a nice short opportunity.

  • some would argue real rates are indeed negative: massive purchases recently of - I kid u not - Safes in the USA.

    Well, my Smilemore current account is paying a hefty 0.12% AER. This is down from 0.28% AER. Luckily, they didn't pass on the whole 1% drop ! Strangely enough, the credit card and ovedraft rates haven't dropped...
