Whinging in the right place

Why can't people whinge about their non-deliviers or no receipts of things on the correct board? Why aren't these whinging threads moved immediately when we have more mods than ever? >:(

For example there are currently three threads moaning about not getting something from a particular set of companies in the Quick Grab it while you can section. I don't see how that has anything to do with telling people about a short term bargain. Yes you may have found the short-term bargain in that section but that has nothing to do with the fact you haven't recieved it and are asking if you should take the company to watchdog.


People have a right to complain about the companies but they should do it in the right place - i.e the vent section or warnings and rip offs or discussion section. How is anyone supposed to find a bargain if the threads are constantly taken up with moaning that they have lost out. However justifiable that might be.

or wanting to discuss them in which case you should be in DT ;D

There is currently 2 threads In DT which IMO shouldn't be in there as they are to do with shopping - if they are complaining they should be in vent or warnings and if they're shopping they should be in grab it while you can or shop don't drop

The poor souls even had Wendy jump on them earlier - she might not have found em if they hadn't been plonked in DT ;D

edited to say they're now 3 - i thought DT was to discuss the issues - to me the other threads belong elsewhere ::)

No I haven't asked them to move them. They appear to be well aware of them. Even posting in some of them that the thread shouldn't be there and then leaving it there for hours before they bother to move it, if they even bother to move them. >:(

I don't see why they don't just merge the threads of posts on the same topic. ??? They do that on other forums all the time. It's not just those posts, it's all the threads asking questions that are allowed to sit in the wrong section for days.

perhaps the problem is too many threads. Should we reduce to i.e. cheap shopping, vents, discussion and anything else?

Can I just say that The Moderator's & Board Guide's are Volunteer job's and we do these in our own time and we are not alway's all online at the same time.

The main thing is that if there is a problem or something your not sure about or even unhappy with, if you just PM the Moderators & board guide's it can be dealt with as soon as they get the message, we don't read every post as it is impossible to get through everything so we need your help to notifiy us then we can help.

I always think of the boardguides as mods cause that's what they were called before anyways :-/
