Advice Required About Photobucket Please

Sorry to turn to you lovely people again for help but having a bit of trouble with PhotoBucket and cannot seem to find an answer.

I opened a Photobucket account yesterday and after a little trouble with sizing seem to have mastered that part.

However today I uploaded 5 photos (for one item)at the same time and into one album. However after they had come across to Photobucket they were showing individually. I was able to copy across to the HTML page on listing but had to do each one separetely which was rather time consuming. Is this normal or can I copy all five pictures across in one go to save on time? Thank you

    That's normal.

just wondering what it has to do with ebay though?
If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!

I'd guess that the OP was wanting these pictures hosted to add to an ebay listing.

Thank you rare_stuff you are correct- I thought by posting on EBay section and mentioning listing, it was fairly obvious it concerned Ebay- but maybe not to some

It says in the OP, 'one item' and 'listing' so it's clear that they were talking about using Photobucket for eBay.

OP, have you tried using turbolister? You paste the photobucket into design view and you can resize til the cows come home :)

Can someone help me understand here- because I used to use photobucket to put up many pictures on ebay and not have to pay ebay fees per picture as they were hosted by another site, not via ebay.

But since ebay re-did everything not so long ago, I am no longer able to do this, insted, I can still have nother site host the pages, but ebay will charge for each picture as if they were posted on ebay itself and not via photobucket.

Is there/are there any ways to get round this? I am at the moment posting an item for like 99p, then forking out 12p per picture for many pictures to sell the item. Is there a way I can host them somewhere and not have to pay ebay fees?

Since the new changes I'm having all sorts of problems with Ebay including being unable to open the phrasebox on feedback therefore making me unable to leave it.....yet some days it works....but on mys sons laptop I do not have this problem. I have emailed and they suggest it is my settings but the fact that it sometimes works is strange. Also problems with the new search, I cannot refine it or access the sec ond third pages etc of search.
I also cannot use photobucket when using it from the add photos feature......however I can add them into the body of the message by using the HTML button.
Or are you saying you cannot do it that way either?

No, I can't do anything- If I select to "self host" I am allowed only one picture- before ebay messed averything around with their new "improved" system a few months back, I would select to "self host" my images, and be able to get 6 images on my listing. Now I am only able to get one when I select the same "self hosting" tab:confused: I have not tried copy-pasting an entire page onto the listing, and am so untechnically savvy I wouldn't have a clue....not to mention not having the software either.

I have not had any issues with searches, and aside from the irritating order ebay selects you to see it in (unless you select "newly listed/ending soonest...etc) its been easier for me to find what I want- its like the only thing ebay has done right!
