Aqualisa shower question

A question for the knowledgeable plumbers out there. I'm planning to replace my pumped shower with an Aqualisa Quartz unit. I currently have a 1.8 bar (Techflow) shower pump which provides adequate though not spectacular pressure / flow. If I go for a Quartz unit, should I get the one with the integral pump or save some money and utilise the existing pump ? or, could I even connect the two in series ?

Good morning: Check out the manufacturer's specifications .Give the Aqualisa tech line a ring on 01959 560010 for further advice.

I fitted an Aqualisa Quartz last year - great shower, very easy to fit. We went with the pump as our reason for changing was because unpumped it was not usable as a shower. I guess you need to compare throughputs on the pumps and decide from there if it is worth getting the Aqualisa pump.0

The non-pumped units are generally meant for use with pressurised water, either via combi/thermal store or pressurised cylinder. If you wish to keep your existing pump then I would suggest going for an Aquavalve or Aquarian model as opposed to a Quartz. You definitely can't connect the two in series.0
