0% CREDIT CARDS for retired people

..I have tried getting a card ( citi ) but got a knock-back. My credit history excellent, no history of debt & all cards paid in full at the end of the month.. Advise me please..

But by the same token I contacted ntl & got £12 a month shaved off my broadband/ phoneline account. Plus they are going to give me free local call @ weekends & after 6pm. Although my BB speed has dropped from 2gb to 1gb..but that is hardly noticable..
