  • thanks for this i'll be heading there!:) is it off all styles?

It's not 50% off since they doubled their prices in the latest catalogue. See this thread here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...html?t=1349771

Look at these two pages from their summer and autumn catalogues. Don't be fooled it's a con! Doors and cabinets all exactly doubled in price in the latest catalogue.

  • Ermmm... IKEA will be closed on Christmas Eve.

(and I really do know that mine is as I will be off work on a "Given Day") :D

Ah. Might have to change my plans for Christas eve then and stay at home.

I have just called the one I was going to (Milton Keynes) and yes they are shut on the 24th.

I am not sure but just got back from Ikea very quiet over there, no sale at all! I think this year is going to be not so greate for them.

Well as the 18th is TOMORROW, I would not expect them to be in sale TODAY.

Well I did say the 18th and that's tomorrow which might explain why there is nothing to see today :T

Ikea kitchen fan here - on our 3rd installation, now. Plenty of other posts if you want to search, most people more than happy with them!

They have 0% finance deal been running for a while, so don't expect any more discounts, if that's still on!

Don't forget if you get an Ikea storecard, they give usually 5% off first transaction, back to you in vouchers. So not worth missing - if you pay off in full, of course!

Have you downloaded the free Ikea planner - works really well, once you get used to it!?

& you mentioned MK store, there's isn't the best example of a good layout, but you'd see some of the range there - Wembly was better.

& if you wanted to view ours, we're just outside MK, you'd be most welcome to - pm me!

Also if you need someone to instal, happy to recommend the guys we used, too.

Here's the white one, at our new house....

  • Cheers Folks, great response from all of you thanks for the advice.

Well we will be starting our kitchen from scratch with new central heating and electrics so it shouldn't matter about the lack of void at the back of carcasses.

Ikea reckon their official fitters will do all the electrics and plumbing and a rough estimate of the fitting is 50/50 for kitchen and fitting.

So if your kitchen comes to just £1500 like ours does, fitting will cost £1500 including hooking up all your water, gas and electric, plus cutting worktops etc etc.

And with 25 years guarantee it Sounds like a plan.
  • Vansboy, I've just sneaked a look through your album as I love looking at what you have done to your house but... I'd suggest you take off the pics of the car as it gives your reg plate.

There are not usually a lot of kitchens in the Ikea sale, not unless they are being discontinued.
