Had the same problem a couple of years ago. We ended up removing our complete door frame to fit the suite through. We were assured by the company that it would be OK, but what they didn't tell us, was that the 3 Seater (double recliner) actually comes apart into 3 pieces...?! We opted to pick up from the Warehouse (as it was down the road, and we had transport and saved us £80) so I think the info. was omitted 'on purpose'! At least we know we can get it out again, without having to remove door frames.
Sorry, this is my long winded way of saying, double check that the suite wont 'come in parts'!
I agree with this. I have just moved house and had to remove the arms off my sofas to get them in. Just staple gun the material at the bottom back on and all should be fine.
Finally, I can see you crystal clear

£120 cost us to remove our window to get the sofa off the lawn into the house......
    SIMPLES!
  • This is why im having to get a modular sofa, upstairs flat so no living room window to fit it through.

I did check round the sofa companies and it does say in their terms and conditions that its your responsibility to ensure the sofa fits through your door/window. So unless you specifically gave the sales advisor your door measurements and ask if it would fit, I doubt you will get a full refund.

Then you would also have to prove it too.. In writing?

Best bet as many ohers have said and myself included (live in a shared tunnel house), had to have main windown of sealed unites removed... Fitted in lovely and for £100 was a bargain!

We had same problem and paid 10% to send it back. Although we weren't very happy, it was our fault for not measuring properly, you sit on the sofa you are free to take your own measurements. At least we weren't stuck with something we couldn't use.

    Good luck.
