am i being stupid? why have they been cancelled? im confused!

Because people are mean  and get their kicks from cancelling other people's weddings. You'd think they'd have better things to do with their lives.

I'll try and get a photo on here but not saying where it is, it's only been used for one or two weddings before so not a popular venue.

  • Ok, this is the outside and this is the inside. We'll obviously decorate the inside and make it look nicer! We're having the ceremony inside and then a barbecue outside afterwards, hopefully the weather will be nice enough for us all to be out there (the catering company have a back up plan). Otherwise it'll be a question of the venue staff shifting a few chairs around or something! There's no formal seating plan or anything though.

Doesn't all the female oneupmanship in disguise get boring? Same as the ring thread. I haven't seen anyone posting the local village hall, or the crown and anchor back room.

My venue turned out to be the same price as the local pub. My aunt had her wedding in the back room of the Rose and Crown (or alternative!) and we all had a great time.

Mine's basically a hall, admittedly a hall in a nice building. I know it's not a fancy hotel and we haven't got armies of staff to look after us, but that's fine. Don't forget that many village halls and pubs don't have websites with photos of their rooms on them.

Well you know what? If you don't like it - don't read the threads! It really is that simple. What gives you the right to come in and spoil a perfectly nice thread? Go !!!! all over someone elses parade  How downright RUDE of you.
